Emailpref creates default actions for a bi-directional sync between you preference page and Campaign Monitor.

Deafult actions: The default actions created by Emailpref can not be deleted

You can also create custom actions, to sync your data across various platforms and add/ remove a user from a list depending on use case. Emailpref gives you the control to create custom actions.
